Giving back is one of Hale Advisors’ core values, and a key part of what brings us to work every day. When we started this business, we committed to donating 1 percent of our revenues (yes, that’s revenues, not profits) to support women’s issues – and we have done so every year. At the same time, we’ve used our professional skills to assist several local, women-focused non-profits by providing a “third hand” to help them with their own marketing and communication efforts.

Following are some of the ways we have supported the global and local women’s community beyond our yearly 1 percent donation:

Carve for a Cause

Developed an Organization/Event Playbook and designed a large scale infographic print to commemorate the 10 year anniversary.

Teamed with People’s Place to provide “HaleEssentials” to women and girls in Ulster County.

Ulster/Dutchess Girls, Inc.

Developed and launched Ulster/Dutchess Girls, Inc. website for YWCA

Held the inaugural Ulster County One Billion Rising (OBR) Event in 2013, which had more than 200 attendees and raised more than $2,000 for the Washbourne House.

Raising Hope

Advised the United Way’s Hope’s Fund on its strategic and marketing planning, which led to its rebranding as Raising Hope and a restored focus on its Women Mentoring Women program

Promoted the 2014 Fall screening of Girl Rising documentary film, which had more than 200 attendees and raised awareness of local Girls Inc. efforts and the Washbourne House

Worked with the Washbourne House to develop and launch the Washbourne House website and year-end donation email newsletter
