We believe that extending a “third hand” to those in need is part of our social responsibility. In addition to volunteering and in-kind projects, we donate 1% of our yearly revenue to local and global organizations that directly influence the lives of women and girls. When women are empowered, everyone benefits and thrives.

Beyond our yearly 1 percent donation…

We teamed with People’s Place to provide “Hale Essentials,” such as feminine hygiene products, shampoo and conditioner, razors and bar soap, to women and girls in need. The program has since transitioned to “The Essentials Program.”

We helped develop and launch Girl’s Inc.’s first website. Girls Inc. provides advocacy, services, & education for women, children & families and empowers all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

We held the inaugural Ulster County One Billion Rising event in 2013. There were more than two-hundred attendees, and we raised over $2000 for Washbourne House, a not-for-profit that provides alternatives to those living with domestic violence.

We came on board to advise with The United Way Hope Fund’s marketing planning and strategy, which resulted in a rebranding effort including renaming the fund to Raising Hope .

We promoted the 2014 fall screening of Girl Rising, a documentary film which drew over two-hundred attendees. This helped raise awareness of local Girls Inc. The Washbourne House\
