Nancy Heiz, Hale Advisors

Nancy is our Editorial Director here at Hale Advisors. She is a writer, editor, multimedia content producer, and corporate storyteller with a specialty in green and sustainable consumer products, design, healthcare, and agriculture.

A veteran journalist and editor for regional consumer and national business-to-business publications, Nancy served as editor in chief of New York House Magazine until 2011, and prior to that, as an editor of Home Furnishings News for more than 14 years.

She currently teaches multimedia journalism at SUNY New Paltz, from which she holds a BA in journalism and French. She earned an MS in Information Design & Technology from SUNY Institute of Technology. She is an active member of the Online News Association and AIGA.

In her spare time, Nancy enjoys running, cycling, swimming, skiing, and other outdoor pursuits, volunteering in her community, reading, and spending time with her family.
